NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The principal of The Academy for Discovery at Lakewood, an elementary school in Norfolk, emailed families about a “student-related situation” on Wednesday, the third day of the new school year.
The letter states that school staff quickly addressed the situation, but it did not detail the circumstances.
