NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Saint Paul’s Boulevard around 4 p.m. Friday for a report of a gunshot victim, according to officials.
When units arrived on scene, officers determined an adult man was not shot, and was instead was injured from an assault in which the suspect used a weapon to strike him.
It is unclear at this time what type of weapon was used in the assault.
The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
