Portsmouth church hosts food pantry amid rising grocery prices

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Following grocery prices rising amid the Iran war, Third Baptist Church in Portsmouth held a drive-thru food pantry for those in need.

Located just outside downtown Portsmouth, a line of automobiles was wrapped around the church long before the doors opened for the monthly Foodbank Fresh Food Giveaway.
