WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A teenage girl has died after crews pulled her from the Potomac River near Georgetown Waterfront Park on Saturday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers with the Harbor Unit responded to the water near the Francis Scott Key Bridge just after 7:45 p.m. Saturday for the report of a person in the river.
Once in the area, crews with the DC Fire and EMS Department and officers found a teenage girl, unconscious and not breathing, in the water near the 3300 block of Water Street NW.
