WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. firefighters battled a fire possibly started by a gas leak on the rooftop of a building in Southeast on Sunday night.
In a post on X around 11:50 p.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department said the fire ignited in the 1300 block of 4th Street, where flames were found on the top of a multi-story building.

As the investigation continued, there was an active gas leak coming from a grill.
