FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — Firefighters say a driver is in the hospital after driving into an auto parts store in Fort Washington on Sunday.
Prince George’s County firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle into a building around 4:15 p.m. in the 990 block of Swann Creek Road East. When crews arrived, they found a sedan had smashed into the front of the Advance Auto Parts in the shopping center that includes a Safeway grocery store.
No one inside the store was hurt, according to a post by the fire department on X, formerly Twitter. However, the driver of the sedan was hospitalized with serious but not-life-threatening injuries…
