Someone was hit by a Metro train after officials believe they accidentally fell onto the tracks Friday afternoon in Northeast D.C.
The person fell onto the tracks at the Rhode Island Avenue station and was hit by a Red Line train at about noon, Metro said. Crews rescued the victim and rushed them to a hospital while conscious and breathing.
