WASHINGTON — A woman and a child are recovering in the hospital after a shooting early Tuesday morning in 16th Street Heights. Police are asking for the public’s help to find the person or people who pulled the trigger.
A spokesperson for DC Police says officers were called to the 5600 block of 13th Street Northwest for a report of a shooting just after midnight. When officers got there, they found the woman and a girl, only identified as a juvenile, had gunshot wounds.
