Career path at WSU Tech lets students earn a paycheck and a degree

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — WSU Tech put the spotlight on a new program Wednesday, showing prospective students how they can earn a paycheck as part of their degree.

The ThinkBIG Program is designed for people who want to have a career in heavy equipment technology.

Students split time between classroom instruction at Wichita State University’s technical school and paid hands-on training at Foley Equipment. The Caterpillar dealer partnered with WSU Tech to make the program possible.
