From new openings to a downtown closure, Wichita’s dining landscape had several changes in April. Food trucks are going brick-and-mortar and national chains are expanding.
Here are the area’s openings and closings announced this month:
Wichita restaurant openings and closings
• New openings:Cafe on Me has moved into a brick-and-mortar space at 115 S. Minneapolis, and it will eventually share the building with Verdant Coven Plant Co., set to hold its grand opening May 15-17.
• Chain expansion:Mokas Coffee & Eatery opened its third Wichita location at 3851 N. Ridge Road on April 15. A fourth Wichita store is planned near Central and Oliver and should open next spring…
