WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks issued a public health advisory Friday due to blue-green algae.
The following lakes have blue-green algae warnings:
- King Lake, Lyon County
- Lake Afton, Sedgwick County
Blue-green algae watches are in effect for:
- Council Grove City Lake, Morris County
The southeast pond at Frontenac City Lake in Crawford County has been lifted from the watch it was placed under the advisory in April.
