Wichita police search for white SUV in fatal hit-and-run

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 38-year-old woman late Friday night in west Wichita.

Officers were called about 11:23 p.m. May 8 to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 3400 block of West Taft, police said. The woman was found with critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

Police said the vehicle involved left the scene and has not been located. Investigators described it as a white SUV with possible front-end damage…
