A New Castle man is behind bars as part of an investigation into cocaine distribution.
According to Delaware State Police, John Dupree II resisted officers who were trying to take him into custody at a planned drug deal Monday at Beaver Brook Plaza. Detectives said Dupree refused to exist his vehicle when he arrived at the scene, and disobeyed DSP commands.
Around 127-grams of cocaine was reportedly recovered.
