EAST PUTNAM, Conn. (WTNH) — A person is injured after a rollover crash in East Putnam on Sunday evening.
Members of the East Putnam Fire Department said they were dispatched to the scene on Park Road around 6 p.m. for reports of a rollover crash.
When crews arrived, they said they saw the car with “heavy damage perched on top of a fire hydrant” and the driver was still inside of the car, though not trapped.
Responding units determined that the driver’s injuries met the criteria for a medical helicopter transport, but the weather made it so the LIFESTAR and LifeFlight crews were unable to fly…
