A North Carolina man is facing multiple felony drug and fleeing charges after deputies say he led authorities on a high-speed chase into Horry County.
According to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Special Operations Vice/Narcotics Division were conducting proactive patrols near Carolina Road and Fair Bluff Road on July 20 in response to citizen complaints when they spotted a gray Hyundai Sonata fail to stop at the intersection of Eighth Street and Fair Bluff Road.
