GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A smoothie bowl chain is set to open its first location in the Capital Region. Playa Bowls is set to open at 1512 Western Avenue in Guilderland on Saturday, August 8 at 10 a.m.

Playa Bowls serves a variety of smoothie bowls, smoothies, juices, and cold brew. You can view the full menu on the Playa Bowls website.
On opening day, the first 50 guests will get a free bowl and custom Playa t-shirt. Founded on the Jersey Shore in 2014, Playa Bowls now has over 400 locations in the United States.
