ALL WHO ARE VOTING IN THE AUG. 4 ELECTION: Thanks to all of you who have already turned in your ballots. Thanks to all of you who will get your ballots in before 8 pm on Tuesday, August 4. Regardless of your politics, regardless of who you vote for, regardless of where you stand on the issues, voters like you make our democracy work. Sure, it takes a little time and a little effort. But keeping our freedom in America, Washington state and Spokane is worth it!

Last night it appeared to be out! I am sure the entire neighborhood wants to say thank you to all the firefighters who as always risked their lives to save ours and our homes, just beyond the road. True heroes…
