ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis couple is hoping their story of finding love later in life, traveling the Caribbean, and building a life together will earn them the title of “America’s Favorite Couple.”
Cynthia “Cyndi” and Gerald “Jerry” Landry are competing in the national online contest, using the opportunity not only to share their story of love, but also to raise awareness for charitable causes supported by the competition, including Oceana and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
The couple met while working together at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, where Cyndi was director of sales and Jerry worked as banquet manager. They started as friends and co-workers, but eventually Cyndi decided to make the first move…
