MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (WGXA) — Two more Milledgeville residents received federal prison sentences for their involvement in an Atlanta-to-Milledgeville methamphetamine trafficking ring.
According to a previous WGXA report, it all began when federal agents started looking into a group of individuals who were believed to be distributing methamphetamine in the Baldwin County area in early 2023, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia (DOJ).
“Drug trafficking organizations don’t just deal drugs—they bring guns, violence, and instability into our neighborhoods,” said Jae W. Chung, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Atlanta Field Division. “The significant prison sentences and guilty pleas reflect the danger these defendants posed, and the harm caused by flooding our communities with methamphetamine and other illicit drugs.”…
