Gabe’s, the discount retailer formerly known as Rugged Warehouse, will permanently close its Gaithersburg location at 30 N. Frederick Avenue in Gaitherstowne Plaza on Saturday, August 22.
The store began its going-out-of-business sale on July 2, and signage now posted inside the store confirms the August 22 closing date. The notice also states that the store will not be relocating and that the closure affects only the Gaithersburg location.
Gabe’s nearby locations in Frederick, Glen Burnie and Alexandria will remain open. The Frederick store, located at 417 S. Jefferson Street, will be the closest location for Montgomery County shoppers following the Gaithersburg closure…
