Truck driver accused of pointing handgun at motorist on I-20 in Austell

Dalton Lee Bratton, 35, of Cantonment, Florida, is accused of pointing a Glock handgun at a man driving down Interstate 20 eastbound at Riverside Parkway in Austell on Aug. 7 at 9:16 a.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

The victim took pictures of Bratton’s semi-truck to show police and provided a description of the black handgun that appeared to be a 9mm. Officers located a black Glock handgun outside of its holster tucked behind the passenger seat inside the cabin of Bratton’s truck. Bratton stated he pointed his phone at the victim, according to the warrant.

Bratton is charged with aggravated assault weapon. He was arrested on Aug. 7 at 9:34 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
