WAUNAKEE, Wis. (WMTV) – A local Pizza Hut and neighboring buildings were evacuated Saturday morning following a reported gas leak.
Waunakee police and firefighters responded to the restaurant on the 300 block of North Century Avenue early Saturday after managers reported smelling gas. Nearby apartments and businesses were evacuated as a precaution until authorities cleared the area.
Pizza Hut was cleared and reopened around 10 a.m. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the leak is still under investigation…
