19-year-old placing construction flags along busy DeKalb road hit, killed by vehicle, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — DeKalb County police said a 19-year-old man was fatally struck by a car while he was placing construction flags on a busy road Monday morning.

Around 9:21 a.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Lavista Road and Wembley Court in North Druid Hills.

Officers found the pedestrian, 19-year-old Dylan Wayland, dead from his injuries…
