GUILDERLAND — Bare Blends, a local smoothie chain with roots in Stuyvesant Plaza, will be getting a new name and new look.
The plant-based, vegan and gluten-free smoothie chain was acquired in May by SolBol, a Long Island-based chain serving açaí bowls, smoothies and other fresh food, founders Ann-Marie Berdar and Jessica Fuller confirmed last week.
Berdar said it was important SolBol was also a New York-based brand, and that the chain could “take our franchisees to the next step.”…
