VOORHEESVILLE — A new archery range, the first of more than a dozen new facilities set to be built around the state, has opened in Voorheesville.
The wheelchair-accessible range, located at the Black Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area, was unveiled by state officials on Wednesday. It features both low-draw and full-draw weight areas, targets for all bow types, and elevated shooting platforms.
The new range “provides archers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels with a unique opportunity to hone their skills while enjoying a scenic and ecologically diverse natural area here in the Capital Region,” DEC Commissioner Amanda Lefton said in a statement…
