SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A 116-year-old farm in the town of Schodack has softly reopened its doors. Goold Hill Estate, located on Brookview Station Road and previously known as Windy Hill Orchard, is now under new ownership.

The apple orchard was founded by the Goold family in 1910, making it one of the oldest family-owned farms in the Capital Region. The property was then purchased in 2019 by Scott Seeberger and his family before being sold to new owners Neviana Zhgaba and Ardian Llomi in 2025.
Since taking over, Zhgaba and Llomi have worked to revitalize the grounds, including reviving fruit production and planting around 7,500 new vines. The two told NEWS10 that they have received a lot of help from one of the original owners, Sue Goold.
“I honestly can’t believe my eyes,” Zhgaba said. “We are so in love with this new space.”…
