Ten Broeck Mansion turns Romanticism into a free festival of art, music and poetry

ALBANY — Ten Broeck Mansion will host the “Hopeless Romantics” Arts & Culture Festival on Saturday to celebrate Albany’s ties to Romanticism, the cultural and artistic movement away from science and structure and toward intense emotions and imagination. The Albany County Historical Association, or ACHA, at Ten Broeck Mansion is collaborating with Capital Repertory Theatre for this special, free festival.

The executive director of Ten Broeck Mansion, Kathryn Kosto, says that for this festival, ACHA wanted “to present Albany’s culture with a twist … to make things relevant.”
