SANDOVAL COUNTY — Two men have been charged after allegedly kidnapping a woman at La Luz Trail and fleeing police into Albuquerque.
Dominic Mata, 23, and Joshua Lopez, 22, both of Albuquerque, were summoned for the alleged crime, according to court records. Mata was charged with first-degree kidnapping, aggravated fleeing law enforcement, attempted aggravated battery, vehicle embezzlement and several misdemeanor offences. Lopez was charged with second-degree conspiracy to kidnap and interference with communications.
