WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A shooting occurred southwest of downtown Winston-Salem on Sunday afternoon.
The Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 1100 block of West Academy Street.

According to police, a person of interest in this matter is cooperating with the investigation and is currently being interviewed.
