Developers hope to ease concerns over redevelopment of Asia Center

DENVER (KDVR) — An attorney for Asia Center Development, LLC, said redevelopment plans for the strip mall on South Federal Blvd and West Tennessee Avenue are in the exploratory phases to see what is possible on the property.

The center has decades of history and is seen as a cultural hub for immigrant-owned small businesses. Many people are concerned about the plans to redevelop the area into a multi-story mixed-use property, saying it could threaten their history, their culture and their businesses.
