AUSTIN (KXAN) – A rare piece of Texas and American history went on display Saturday as part of a Flag Day celebration at the Texas State Library and Archives.
The event at the Lorenzo de Zavala State Archives and Library Building featured one of the oldest flags in the state’s collection, a 28-star U.S. flag that flew during the time Texas joined the United States in 1846.
