BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding an e-scooter in southwest Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police said the crash happened Friday just before 8:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of White Lane near Shelby Loop.
The woman was riding the e-scooter on the south shoulder when she was hit by a car. The driver then fled the scene.
