One of the biggest annual events on the Sabine Speedway calendar lived up to its reputation Friday night, July 3rd, as the 5th Annual Darty Smith Memorial brought packed grandstands, more than 100 race cars, and increased purses across every division to the Many, Louisiana dirt oval.
Along with the Factory Stocks, fans witnessed outstanding racing in the Country Boy USRA Limited Modifieds, Sportsters, FWD, and Sideline Sports USRA B-Mods as drivers battled for the richest weekly purses of the season while honoring the memory of Darty Smith.
