A section of East Garner Road in southeast Wake County will close for about 45 days beginning Monday as part of the Complete 540 Phase 2 project.
The N.C. Department of Transportation and the N.C. Turnpike Authority said East Garner Road will be closed between Auburn Knightdale Road and Rock Quarry Road while construction crews complete work associated with the southern extension of Interstate 540.
