Lloyd’s Full Service Set to Open in Downtown Cary

A new neighborhood restaurant is preparing to debut in downtown Cary this August, according to Axios Raleigh. Lloyd’s Full Service will open at 107 E. Chatham Street, transforming a former auto shop into a dining destination from Early Bird Night Owl Hospitality Group, the hospitality company behind projects including The Durham, The Mayton in Cary, and the under-construction Gables in Raleigh.

Axios Raleigh reports that the restaurant occupies a historic 1951 filling station at the corner of Chatham and Academy streets. The redevelopment preserves one of downtown Cary’s oldest commercial buildings while introducing a covered outdoor patio overlooking the heart of the town’s growing dining district.

The kitchen will be led by chef Dennis Bernard, who will serve a menu featuring dishes such as linguine with clams, a fried fish plate, an all-day breakfast platter, and a hot dog inspired by the former Ashworth Drugs, a longtime Cary landmark, according to Axios Raleigh…
