Milan Firefighter Honored by Washtenaw Sheriff’s Office
Nikki Begziak has been named the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office 2025 Emergency Services Employee of the Year. Begziak, a communications operator with the sheriff’s office, also serves with the Milan Area Fire Department as a firefighter and emergency medical responder. Milan Area Firefighters said she has served with the department since October 2017.
