Letters: Worry more about victims than criminals in EBR justice system
Letter writer Tia Fields bemoans the loss of judicial control of the East Baton Rouge District and the number of Black criminals on death row. Two points should be brought up. These criminals were convicted of such serious crimes they merit the death penalty. They put themselves in this situation. It wasn't shoplifting or parking tickets.
