BUENA VISTA, Ga. (WTVM) - The Buena Vista City Council appointed Sharon Williams as chief of police Tuesday night, making her the first woman to hold the position in the city’s history. Williams, who has 28 years of law enforcement experience was officially appointed to the role April 21.
