Authorities have identified the three people from Northeast Iowa who were injured and an 81-year-old woman from Cedar Rapids who died in a two-vehicle head-on collision Monday (07.27) morning in eastern Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash occurred shortly before 10 AM Monday along Highway 52 in Dubuque County. 81-year-old Margaret Bockenstedt was heading north in a Ford Escape when her vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and hit a Ford F-250, driven by 51-year-old Bob Blake of Decorah, near the intersection with Double J Lane.
Bockenstedt died at the scene. Blake and two passengers in his pickup, 26-year-old Cody Dostal of Ossian and 22-year-old Jeremy Andera of Cresco, were taken to MercyOne Dyersville for treatment of minor injuries…
