LINN COUNTY, Iowa — An eastern Iowa man is dead after law enforcement said he crashed his vehicle during a pursuit Saturday night.
A crash report from the Iowa State Patrol said the incident happened about seven miles southwest of Cedar Rapids at the intersection of Wright Brothers Blvd. and Lefebure Rd. around 9:17 p.m.

Robert Oppenheimer, 34, of Olin, was attempting to flee from Linn County Sheriff’s deputies southbound on Lefebure Rd. when the ISP said the Ford F-150 he was driving failed to stop at the stop sign at Wright Brothers Blvd. The truck left the roadway and crashed.
The crash report stated Oppenheimer died as a result of the crash…
