CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (IOWA’S NEWS NOW) — The former principal of a Cedar Rapids charter school is now under a no-contact order until the summer of 2031 after allegedly threatening to slit someone’s throat earlier this year.
Court filings from Wednesday morning show Justin Blietz has had a protective order against him extended until August 12 of that year.
Blietz was the principal at Cedar Rapids Prep in March when he was accused of making the death threat against a woman. He was charged with first-degree harassment, with a third-degree count added after more allegations of harassment were made from the weeks prior…
