TAMPA, Fla. – The State Attorney’s Office will file criminal charges against Detroit Lions player Terrion Arnold following his arrest in Hillsborough County. Arnold, 23, turned himself in at the Orient Road Jail on Wednesday night in connection with a February armed robbery and kidnapping incident in Tampa. He faces four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery, charges that carry a potential maximum penalty of life in prison.
According to police and prosecution records, the incident stems from a targeted armed robbery on February 4, 2026, at an apartment complex in the 14000 block of N. 46th St. Investigators identified Arnold as the primary conspirator behind the attack, which left three adult male victims in their late teens with visible injuries from being held at gunpoint, beaten, and pistol-whipped.
The investigation revealed that Arnold had been renting an Airbnb in Largo, where he stayed periodically with several friends and co-defendants. On February 3, Arnold and his associates reported a property loss totaling more than $250,000 to the Largo Police Department.
