COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A Columbia family has been displaced after a fire left their home in an unlivable condition Saturday morning.
Crews with the Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to the home in the 2300 block of Park Street at 9:45 a.m. after the homeowner reported smelling smoke while preparing to leave for Fourth of July activities.
Crews said the rear deck was on fire, extending into the kitchen, up the exterior wall, and into the second floor and attic.
The fire was extinguished, and officials say no one was injured; two adults and four children have been left without a home…
