Louis Riddick Names Top CFB Wide Receiver That Has Impressed At 2024 Senior Bowl

The top NFL Draft prospects from around the country have arrived in Mobile, Alabama for the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl. It is a major opportunity for the top college football players to showcase their talents in front of all 32 NFL teams and scouts.

ESPN’s Louis Riddick reported that South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette had an extremely strong day during the second day of practices.

“WR Xavier Legette had a VERY strong day. Inside. Outside, short/intermediate/deep, contested catches, run after catch….he can do all of it at a high level,” Riddick posted on social media.

Over five seasons with the Gamecocks, Legette recorded 113 receptions for 1,678 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns. He had a breakout season in 2023, in which he ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC with 1,255 receiving yards.

Legette earned first-team All-SEC and third-team All-American honors. He was a finalist for the Blanchard-Rogers Trophy and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.
