COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — MA FEST is an annual celebration free for the public to gather and enjoy, helping to celebrate the life and legacy of Ma Rainey, known as the “Mother of the Blues.”
The second annual festival was held outside of the Historic Liberty Theatre & Cultural Arts Center on Sunday evening from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering a lively event for the community.
The celebration, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 25, was rescheduled due to inclement weather, according to MA FEST organizers.
