AM Showers & Storms, Then Becoming Isolated!

THIS WEEKEND:We’re starting out wet this morning with rain and even some rumbles of thunder. This rain should last through much of the morning, but by the afternoon, the rain should be tapering off and becoming isolated, with the heavier rain south of Columbus, especially along the Gulf Coast. Definitely not a good day to head to the beach. Highs today will be in the mid 70s. Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with an isolated shower possible. Thanks to some sun, we’ll see highs reach the low 80s.

NEXT WEEK:Monday will feature isolated showers through the late afternoon, and then showers and storms will increase late, although the bulk of the activity at the moment, looks to be south of Columbus. But stayed tuned to the First Alert Weather team for any adjustments north or south with that rain coverage. Then, the rest of the week we dry out and become seasonable with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s, and afternoon highs in the upper 70s Tuesday, then the low 80s Wednesday into the weekend.
