New Bigfoot-themed art festival coming to Tulsa’s historic Route 66 district

TULSA, Okla. — A new festival celebrating local art, Route 66 culture and Bigfoot folklore is coming to West Tulsa this weekend.

The inaugural Bigfoot on 66 Art Festival will take place Sunday in Tulsa’s historic Red Fork District. Organizers say the free, family-friendly event is designed to bring people together while highlighting local artists and businesses along Route 66.

The festival is hosted by RedFork Arts Foundry and will feature more than 20 local artists and vendors, hands-on workshops, food trucks, storytelling events and a Bigfoot calling contest…
