Henderson motorcyclist killed in high-speed weekend crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed, single-vehicle crash over the weekend.

On Sunday, May 31, at around 12 p.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a crash west of State Route 159, just east of mile marker 3.

According to a release from NHP, the investigation showed that a white and blue 2024 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on State Route 159 approaching mile marker 3 just before the crash.

The release said the motorcycle rider, later identified as Lance Steven Pangan Casuga, 28, of Henerson, was traveling too fast for conditions on the road while negotiating a curve. Casuga failed to drive on the right side of the road, traveled left into the eastbound lane, and entered the desert area, where the motorcycle overturned…
