MORGAN COUNTY, Ala — A boater was rescued Saturday night after their vessel capsized on the Tennessee River in Morgan County, according to the Morgan County Rescue Squad.
The incident happened about 10:30 p.m. near Mile Marker 304 in the area of Jay’s Landing. The operator of the capsized boat was pulled from the water by occupants of a vessel traveling behind them — before rescue crews arrived on scene.
Good Samaritans brought the boater back to Ingalls Harbor, where the operator then drove themselves to a local hospital for evaluation of possible injuries…
