UNION TOWNSHIP, Warren County, Ohio (WKRC) — A proposed move by Restoration Ranch, an organization that provides residential treatment for troubled children, has sparked a zoning fight and divided neighbors near a property on Shawhan Road in Warren County.
Restoration Ranch has operated out of a building on the campus of Solid Rock Church since 2020. It currently serves about a dozen boys ages 11 to 18, but the organization needs to relocate because its current space will soon become a school.
Marriea Mumma, a case manager with Restoration Ranch, said the program provides “treatment, residential treatment for foster youth, adoptive youth or just troubled youth in general.”…
